junior year + choir + other things= eating up my time and stressing me out. goodness. however because of this time seems to pass by quicker. which could either be a good or bad thing. |

family friends are great. especially if you like them and are actual friends with them rather than being friends just because your parents told you to.
because we are friends we can do crazy things like play DDR for TWO hours. and dance like the weird people in the background. i swear we should dance like that at mixers from now on. we'd be SO cool.
but now im going to have to eat barbeque food related things for the next TWO weeks. i already had it for two meals. and zoe left 3 gallons of ice cream. and our family already had like 4 gallons. not the FIFTY zoe's mom thought we had. ahahha. |

here is my monthly entry. im glad that its finally sunny thanks mother nature. um, SAT II MATH and Art History AP in 3 weeks. 2 weeks? oh dear. im not ready.
im looking forward to summer. by the end of summer i hope to: take a oil painting class & get license.

hey there kids. today was a not so wonderful day which im sure you know if you let me rant. ahahah. but it was made a little better because i had potatoes in both lunch and dinner. yum. and then we got to dive during swimming. yay.

hello all today i have do the etymology practice for latin and the guy is saying: Semper ubi sub ubi! which is super old but still makes me chuckle. it translates to "Always where under where!" chuckle chuckle.
okey smokes i dont like rain, particularly today. (sorry heidi & charisma). it took us 40 minutes to untangle the pool covers and we had to do it in the pouring rain. lovely. and then we got lectured.

how is your break going? (sorry mission and irvy kids. you dont have one anymore.) mine is quite lovely. for example. GUESS WHO HAS HER PERMIT NOW?! as of today, i do. i needed to get 8 right and then i was looking over the test and i was not sure about 10 and then i was like uh oh. and then when i got the lady to check it her expression was very hard to read and looked quite creepy. i mean like have you seen 50 first dates? the huge guy in the pancake house? thats what she looked like. i got 4 wrong. 91% good enough for me. :) my first lesson is tomorrow. but i cant believe im already starting this whole driving thing. i feel old.

hey all. im reading the divine secrets of the ya-ya sisterhood right now. i love how its set in a southern town and you get to know what its like to grow up around the 1940s of the town. its cute and funny. read it!
today in english we had to write about a childhood experience where you were excited to learn something. i wrote about when i was six years old and i was just learning how to iceskate, i really had to use the wall all the time. then one day there was a lady in front of me and she would not move so i had to go around her and then i found out that i could skate without the wall! i was so excited.
mr. hufnagl was saying, the reason why i asked you to write a childhood experience is because as a kid you are excited by simple things whereas you grow up and the excitement has to be more complicated. i was thinking to myself. ahahha. nope. im still way excited about little things. like when the guy at the supermarket gave me a sticker. or when i get freebie stuff. :) |

i cant believe i forgot to post about dance. but i decided to talk about AFTER tonights performance so i wont ruin it for anyone. but i have to say, I LOVED IT. i just wish i knew how to dance so i could have a chance to be a part of it. :)
oh yeah after the performance me and my mom went back to albertsons to do grocery shopping. i have yummy cereal and muffins now. :) and at the checkout place the guy was so cool. he gave me a sticker that says: life is terrific. with a huge happy face. i mean seriously when was the last time anyone gave me a sticker?!! i mean adults in particular because ive always looked too old for my age. i can't believe he actually gave me a sticker. needless to say, i was PSYCHED. lol. |

today chinese school was boring as usual but during break me yvonne and alison were playing with a squishy sumo wrestler toy. like alison said they threw it up on the ceiling and no one noticed for two weeks and then they tried to get it off but we wanted to throw it up again right? so alison cleaned it with the water fountain and then yvonne cleaned it because "she is a better cleaner" and then we threw it up. it was funny because it wiggled a lot. ahaha. okay you might think im really immature now but it was so fun. a good work out for my smiling muscles. |

today i have virtually no homework. okay so i have to study for the latin quiz =30 min. then i have to study for english (1 hour including at first free) and then art and math. perhaps its because im not swimming today. oh well its nice to finally have a break. but of course being the hardworking kid i am i guess i have to use this time to do chinese homework. oh and make deepa's birthday card. (HER BIRTHDAY IS THIS SATURDAY!!!)
im way too excited to see the dance production. today during english i was sitting near the window and got distracted seeing all the cute and colorful costumes of the people walking aorund. they worked so hard and man i love harker conservatory. way talented. :) i wish i could dance. i can but its not a pretty sight. ehehhe. |

okay i decided to post xanga entries into lj entries. however the following post if you dont go to harker, will make little sense. but feel free to read anyhow.
the flu is going around. let us all follow the nurse's procedure and sing happy birthday two times when we wash our hands and use towels to open doors. :) ahhaha. or according to catherine, we should eat our oranges. GET BETTER ALL THOSE SICK KIDS.
the sub for math today was mean and quite strict.
today on the bus we dubbed yet another one of our swimmers i mean, me and janise now call annelise a squinty squirrel due to her squinting eye :) and now me and annelise will call dominque a coughing frog. because she has an "annual cough season usually during swimming" and coughs while doing breaststroke.
squinty squirrel and the coughing frog. they could fight crime with their squintiness and super coughing. ahahah. too bad poor janise was not with me when we dubbed dominque that. get better janise chan. |

today i have to shower because its chinese new year. which i was going to do anyway but today i absolutely HAVE to do it so i will be clean the rest of the year. and i get to cook a fish put it on the table and NOT eat it so it seems like we will always have excess food the rest of the year. today my chinese school teacher didnt do anything spectacular although it was chinese new year. but wait, today he decided to use the RED pen. oh wow, going out on a limb there. we were SO excited. not.
but today is definitely the day where i just love being chinese. man i love chinese new year. |
